Hello my mocha flavored Orcs,
Know that I am confident that I am not some screwball talking to the endless internets, I humbly ask for your feedback. Listen it's not like we are megalomaniac's of here at ASDND, but some rest assurance that we don't suck would be nice. We give you free content and insight, which I believe is worth a couple words. So just do it man. Tell us what you like, if you hate us and why, or if we sound like total tools who don't know what we are doing. Your comments are appreciated.

Considering New Systems
Hello coconut flavored readers,
We all fall into our favorites. If you like Call of Duty, you are going to buy COD 4 and then Black OPS. In that same vein we all stick to either DND, Vampire, or the RPG that your friends play most often. And even more pointedly, the same version. But I like the experimentation of different systems. Like for example, BESM (Big Eyes Small Mouth) which is a game that utilizes different elements to make up an RPG. Instead of "rolling" a good amount you instead talk a lot more. Sure, there are your battle scenes, but it seems to pull you towards RPing a lot more than DND would necessarily do as a on it's own system. Now granted group dynamics has a lot to do with how you play an RPG, but I do believe that a system can gear itself towards encouraging it's players to RPing. You are going to find systems like the Star Trek RPG, where Ship Battles are a whole session of play, but I think more often than not, you will find a good system. Their are so many creative people out there that they can't all be no talent hacks. As I consistently stress on the podcast is have a good DM. If your DM is a bad player than your gonna have a bad game as well. The story is at the heart of every RPG game. You can have an amazing system, but any terrible DM can ruin your experience by making bad game style choices. So go out and experience new systems. Start with Vampire, for a really intense story RPG.
Keep your ears Peeled for "The Defuser" the winner of Season 2 of "Who Wants to be a Superhero" from the syfy network. More fabolous content to make your ears smile. Also go check out http://www.drivethrurpg.com/ to help the victims of the terrible incident in Japan. Show some gamer love for those less fortunate.
Thanks for your Support,
Andrew

Wizard Con in Miami, Fl
Hello followers of "A Sunday with DND",
I thought it was about that time I talked about Wizard Con in Miami, Fl. We, me and my fiancee, drove done from Tampa, Fl on Friday to Miami. We stayed at a La Quinta Inn by the airport and ventured out Friday night to find sustenance. Only good part about staying in that hotel was HBO. Free Movies are always a plus. A rad breakfast buffet also helped. However, if your itching to do this Con, I would suggest the Holiday Inn Express just a few miles down the road. On to the review. Everything I feel like was mainly money driven at this Con. Practically everything from the artist alley to the autographs for the celebrities cost money. In fact, the only free things in this Con were the panels and talking to the fan groups. This may be indicative of all Cons, but I felt if you didn't bring some major mula with you, you were not going to have fun here. The magic and yugi-oh card game tourneys were fun, and only cost a few bucks a piece. Still a good experience if you are just walking around. A good bit of Cos players and interesting people to talk to around the floor, as well. The panels and show at the end of the night will keep you interested. Again I was still shocked at the amount of money I thought you need to enjoy the full experience. Still going back next year though. If you wanna check out the panels and some highlights of the show go here: http://www.wizardworld.com/miami2011.html. Interviews to be posted on the podcast soon. So as always go listen and play on players!!!!!
Sincerely,
Andrew
